PDP Acting Chairman Damagum Says ‘Devil Using Members’ to Stir Party Crisis

PDP Acting Chairman Damagum Says ‘Devil Using Members’ to Stir Party Crisis

Damagum made the remark during a meeting with PDP state chairmen in Abuja, led by the forum chairman, Tony Aziegbemi of Edo State, and secretary, Edward Masha of Kaduna State. The delegation visited to reaffirm their loyalty and solidarity with the party’s leadership.

In his address, Damagum warned those undermining the unity of the PDP to reflect on their actions, reminding them that “karma” eventually catches up with everyone.

“I want to call on our colleagues whom the devil is using to find wisdom and cast out that evil spirit,” he said. “Treachery against an institution that made you who you are will never bring peace. You may be lucky for a while, but the law of karma always prevails.”

He urged members to act with fairness and gratitude toward the party, stressing that divine justice would ultimately prevail.

“What goes around comes around,” he continued. “It is never too late to do what is right for this party that has given us all. Sometimes when I choose to follow God’s way, people mistake it for weakness, but we live because God lives, and He will judge us by our behavior. A word, they say, is enough for the wise.”

Damagum’s comments come amid ongoing internal tension within the PDP as the party works to rebuild trust and restore unity ahead of key political engagements.
