Hilda Baci Receives Giant Pot for World’s Largest Jollof Rice Attempt

Excitement builds as Hilda Baci’s pot for her World’s Largest Jollof Rice Attempt arrives Lagos.

Popular food influencer and Guinness World Record holder, Hilda Baci, has officially taken delivery of the enormous cooking pot set to be used for her latest record-breaking feat.

As part of her plan to cook the world’s biggest pot of jollof rice, the massive red pot — with a capacity of 22,619 litres — was specially made in Gbagada, Lagos. It was then transported overnight to Eko Hotel, where the event will take place.

The pot, which carries the branding of food company Gino, was delivered under strict supervision, as seen in videos shared across social media.

Confirming the pot’s safe arrival, Hilda shared a post on Instagram saying:
“At 4am this morning our pot was safely transported from Gbagada where it was fabricated to Eko Hotel where the event is taking place. I’m still pinching myself this is actually happening in less than 24 hours.”

The event is expected to draw massive attention, as fans and food lovers await another impressive record from the chef who previously made headlines with her cook-a-thon achievement.
