PDP Tells Tinubu to Prepare Handover Note Ahead of 2027 Election

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked President Bola Tinubu to begin preparing his handover note, insisting that Nigerians will not give him a second term in 2027.

Speaking at the PDP state secretariat in Yola on Friday, the party’s Organising Secretary in Adamawa State, Hamza Madagali, said Nigerians have lost patience with Tinubu’s administration. He accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) of lacking direction and failing the country.

Madagali noted that the PDP’s recent ward congresses in Adamawa demonstrated unity and readiness to reclaim power. He stressed that the composition of the National Convention committees confirmed that the APC’s time at the presidency was drawing to an end.

According to him, Nigerians have learned from past political mistakes and are no longer willing to gamble with the future of their children.

“Nigerians are wiser now; they now know the difference between original and fake. The only way out is to return the PDP back to power,” Madagali declared.

The opposition party believes that its growing cohesion at state and national levels positions it as the credible alternative to the APC in the 2027 general election.
