Heavy Flooding Overruns Esporta Hotel in Valentino, Ondo After Torrential Rain

Following Heavy Rainfall Ondo, Nigeria – Esporta Hotel, located in the Valentino area of Ondo City, was engulfed by massive floodwaters after a heavy downpour triggered widespread flooding across parts of the city.

A video circulating online shows a powerful current sweeping across the hotel’s entrance, with muddy water surging over the access road and spilling into the premises. The intensity of the flood rendered the entrance inaccessible, highlighting the destructive force of the rainfall.

The incident is the latest reminder of the growing flood challenges affecting several communities in Ondo, particularly along major drainage channels and low-lying areas. Residents and motorists were forced to exercise extreme caution as roads became submerged and transportation was disrupted.
