Leadership Crisis Hits Ondo Assembly Over ₦44 Million Fund Allegations

A fresh political rift has broken out in the Ondo State House of Assembly over claims that Speaker Olamide Oladiji withheld and mismanaged a ₦44 million fund released by the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (OSOPADEC).  

 Reactions: Lawmakers, including Representative Olawumi Fayemi-Obayelu, have demanded the Speaker’s immediate resignation. Speaker Oladiji has dismissed the claims as false, fabricated, and politically motivated.
