The PFIPC “Fake Agency” Scandal Intensifies

The PFIPC “Fake Agency” Scandal Intensifies

A massive political storm is rocking Aso Rock following revelations surrounding the Presidential Foreign Intervention Promotion Council (PFIPC)—a completely fictitious federal entity that somehow managed to secure a ₦1.3 billion allocation in the 2026 national budget and office space in the Federal Secretariat, Abuja.

The Fallout: President Bola Tinubu has officially ordered the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to launch a thorough investigation.

Political Heat: Opposition parties are turning up the pressure. The Social Democratic Party (SDP) National Chairman has called for the immediate resignation of the President’s Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, amid allegations of high-level administrative collusion.
