Kwankwaso Meets NNPP Stakeholders in Cross River, Plots 2027 Strategy

The National Leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and its 2023 presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has met with party stakeholders in Cross River State to strategise ahead of the 2027 general elections, newsmen report.

Speaking in Calabar on Tuesday, Kwankwaso urged members to strengthen unity within the party and expand its presence across the state. He praised the commitment of the state leadership and encouraged them to remain focused on building structures that would secure victory in both state and national elections.

“I thank all the leaders and members of NNPP in Cross River State for receiving us warmly. We are happy with the leadership here and I encourage you to work hard to ensure unity within the party. To win in 2027 we must work with one mind,” Kwankwaso said.

State Chairman of NNPP, Barrister Tony Odey, described Kwankwaso’s visit as a morale booster. “We have brought together stakeholders from different walks of life to share ideas and chart a new course for progress. Your guidance will enrich our capacity,” Odey said. He also acknowledged the support of the Contact Committee led by Alhaji Ahmed Bitchi, which provided office accommodation and donated an official vehicle, describing the gestures as enviable achievements compared to other political parties in the state.

Odey further revealed that apart from the new state secretariat in Calabar, his administration had secured offices in five local government areas within the Northern Senatorial Zone, with plans to brand them in NNPP colours.

In a vote of thanks, the party’s publicity secretary, Odey Nyambi, appreciated Kwankwaso’s engagement with stakeholders and assured that NNPP would secure victory in Cross River come 2027.
