Tochi Criticizes FG Over KWAM 1’s Aviation Security Ambassador Role

Tochi in his post on Instagram criticised the appointment of K1 De Ultimate also know as KWAM 1, saying it is an act of poor judgement, describing it as “a new low even for us.”

BBNaija star Tochi Okechukwu, better known as Tochi, has openly criticised the Federal Government for naming Fuji icon Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, popularly called KWAM 1, as an aviation security ambassador.

The appointment follows a recent incident in which the musician was accused of delaying a flight’s takeoff, a controversy that led to an initial six-month flight ban later reduced to one month. The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) also revealed that KWAM 1 would work with the agency to raise awareness on proper airport security conduct.

Sharing his reaction on Instagram, Tochi used the situation to highlight how many people might have been wrongly jailed or persecuted in the past without their cases gaining traction online.

“From this airline situation, just imagine the number of people that have been wrongly jailed or persecuted just because social media didn’t carry their story.. just imagine,” he wrote.

He further questioned how “an ordinary civilian prevented a whole plane from taking off and you guys made him aviation security ambassador,” calling the move “a new low even for us.”
