Deeone Sparks Reactions Over Davido and Mr Eazi’s Weddings

Ex-BBNaija star Deeone in a viral video compared the costs and scale of both Davido and Mr Eazi’s ceremonies while stirring debates about wealth and status.

ormer Big Brother Naija star Deeone has stirred heated debate online after comparing the lavish weddings of Davido and Mr Eazi.

In a viral Instagram video, the comedian claimed that Mr Eazi spent nearly $14 million on his marriage to Temi Otedola, which was celebrated across Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland.

By contrast, he estimated Davido and Chioma’s Miami wedding cost about $6 million.

Deeone noted that Mr Eazi and Temi’s private events hosted influential figures including Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, and BUA Cement boss, Abdul Samad Rabiu.

Although he acknowledged the Adeleke family’s wealth, Deeone insisted they cannot be compared to the Otedolas or Mr Eazi’s Ajibade family.

He also mocked Davido’s circle, especially Cubana Chiefpriest, suggesting that those who once bragged with phrases like “Money na Water” have gone silent since Mr Eazi’s wedding made headlines.

Concluding his remarks, Deeone urged Nigerians not to feel pressured by the display of wealth, saying:
“Where some people’s money ends, another person’s money begins.”
