Ondo Assembly Speaker Urges Muslims to Uphold Service, Unity on Eid-el-Maulud

The Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Chief Olamide Oladiji, has congratulated Muslims in the state and beyond on the occasion of Eid-el-Maulud, urging them to embrace service to Allah and humanity as the true essence of life.

In a message personally signed and released on Thursday, Oladiji rejoiced with Muslim faithful, calling on them to show love and compassion to one another at all times.
“I extend warm felicitations to you all on the joyous occasion of Eid-el-Maulud. This auspicious celebration marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and is a testament to the enduring values of compassion, peace, and unity that Islam embodies” the statement read.

He further encouraged Muslims to demonstrate kindness, particularly to the less privileged, stressing that the festival should inspire generosity and empathy.

While commending Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa for the achievements recorded by his administration since assuming office, the Speaker appealed for continued peaceful coexistence and unity among residents.

Oladiji prayed for enduring peace, progress, and harmony in Nigeria and wished Muslims a joyous and fulfilling celebration.
