BLord advises young Nigerians not to rush into marriage.

Nigerian businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as BLord, made the remarks during an appearance on the Adult Gist Podcast, where he spoke about relationships, marriage, and the pressure many young Nigerians face to settle down early.

What BLord said : BLord advised young people not to let society, friends, or family pressure them into marriage. Some of his key points were:”Marriage is not an achievement.” He said getting married should never be treated like a competition or a life trophy. Wait until you’re financially and emotionally ready.

According to him, marriage comes with responsibilities, so people should prepare themselves before making such a lifelong commitment. Choose your partner carefully. He warned that a rushed decision can lead to regret, saying:”If you rush into marriage, you will rush out.” Treat people with respect. He encouraged men not to break women’s hearts, adding that one day they may have daughters, and urged women to treat men the way they would want their future sons to be treated. Age shouldn’t force your decision. BLord said people shouldn’t marry simply because they feel they are “getting old” or because their peers are already married.
