Police Bar Amotekun, Vigilantes From Osun Governorship Election Operations

The Nigeria Police Force has reportedly barred Amotekun, vigilante groups and other non-state security organisations from participating in security operations during Saturday’s Osun State governorship election.

The directive means that only authorised state security agencies will be deployed to maintain law and order throughout the election.

The move is aimed at ensuring a coordinated security arrangement and preventing the involvement of unauthorised security groups during the electoral process.
