Liverpool Edge Newcastle in Dramatic Five-Goal Thriller

Liverpool secured a dramatic 3-2 victory over Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Monday night, thanks to a stoppage-time winner from 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha.

The Reds took an early lead in the 35th minute through Ryan Gravenberch, before Hugo Ekitike doubled the advantage just after halftime. Newcastle, however, mounted a spirited comeback. Bruno Guimarães pulled one back in the 57th minute, and substitute William Osula struck late in the 88th minute to level the contest.

Just as the game seemed destined for a draw, Ngumoha etched his name into Liverpool’s history books by scoring in the 100th minute, sealing all three points for Jürgen Klopp’s side.

The result lifts Liverpool further up the Premier League table while Newcastle were left heartbroken after a valiant effort in front of their home fans.
