INEC Deadline Extension Expires Today

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) set August 11 as the final extended deadline for political parties to submit and upload their candidate nomination lists for the state elections. Parties have spent the last 24 hours rushing to resolve internal primary disputes and finalize their tickets.
